James J. Shelak II, age 52, of Walnutport, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital - Fountain Hill. He is the husband of the late Mary Shelak, who passed away in 2023. He was born on October 22, 1971, in Allentown, to Genevieve Kruk of Walnutport and the late James Shelak.
James was a hardworking mechanic who dedicated his life to the automotive industry. He also had a talent for construction, which he pursued with passion and skill. His commitment and expertise earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and clients.
Outside of work, James had a deep love for motorcycles and enjoyed spending his free time cruising the open road. He found solace and joy in the freedom and thrill of riding.
In addition to his mother; James is survived by his son: Nick Shelak of Catasauqua; brothers Todd Shelak and his wife Rhonda & Justin Shelak and his wife Charlene; nieces: Cameo Albino and Taylor Shelak; nephew: Gavin Shelak. James is preceded in death by a nephew: Logan Shelak.
