Philip C. Williams, Sr., 72, of Hickory Hills, formerly of Norristown, passed away suddenly at Lehigh Valley –Hecktown Oaks in Lower Nazareth Township, onSunday, July 16, 2023, after being stricken at home.  He was the loving husband of Diane (Kaczetow) Cahill-Williams, to who he was married 11 years.  Born in Norristown, Phil was a son of the late Horaceand Anna (Honeyman) Williams.  He received his undergraduate degree from Northern Christian Junior College and went on to earn a Master of Education Degree from Wilkes University.  Phil enjoyed a successful career as an educator that spanned more than 20 years in the Norristown Public School system as a music and science teacher at the elementary and middle school levels, before retiring as a principal.  Prior to that, he worked as a paralegal.  Known as a collector, Phil enjoyed collecting coins and stamps, and was an avid model railroad train hobbyist for many years.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Diane, he is survived by a son, Philip C. Williams, Jr. and wife, Krista, of Norristown; two daughters, Christine Beamof Hickory Hills, and Kelly Cahill of Mahanoy City; four grandchildren, Holly Remmes and husband, Daniel, of Wind Gap, Hailie Beam and partner, Allyson Yuhas, of Mahanoy City, Ruby and Casey Williams, both of Norristown; a great-granddaughter, Charlotte; twobrothers, David Williams and wife, Pat, of South Carolina, and Robert Williams of California; along withnieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Joplin.

Services: Friends and relatives are invited to attend A Celebration of Life Gathering on Friday evening, July 28, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Hickory Hills Clubhouse, 121 Hickory Hills Drive, Bath, PA 18014.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, in theVillage of Moorestown – Bath.
