Agnes S. "Aggie" Yeakel, 79, of Bath, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family on Monday, February 3, 2025 at her residence. She was the beloved wife of Richard Yeakel. Born in Roxbury Twp., NJ, Agnes was a daughter of the late Paul and Violet Conklin (Caskey).
Agnes worked as Prep Cook at Kirkland Village, Bethlehem and the Barnhouse Village - Bath. She served as a Den Leader for Cub Scout Pack 44, Bushkill Township. Agnes took great joy in playing games, visiting the casino, and savoring simple pleasures like drinking coffee and enjoying popcorn. However, nothing brought her more happiness than the moments she spent surrounded by her family.
In addition to her husband, Agnes will be dearly missed by her children: Tammy Yeakel (Abraham) of Whitehall; Timothy Yeakel of Bath, Richard Yeakel, Jr., (Laura) of Northampton; grandchildren Tori, Matthew, Andrew, Kelly, Cameron, great grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Daxton, Brayla; sisters: Pearl Pfaff of Brick, NJ, Beverly Person (Charlie) of Bath, Mildred Green (Kenny) of Northampton, Joan Yeakel (Frank) of Bath, Dorothy Scoggin of Bath, Sandra Ortega (Frankie) of Northampton, Debbie Duld of Whitehall. Agnes is predeceased by siblings: Linda Kay, Kenny Black, Paul Conklin, Jr. and Gary Conklin
A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 11 AM on Monday, February 10, 2025 at the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2165 Community Drive - Bath, PA 18014. Interment will follow at the Hope Cemetery of Hecktown. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net.
