Betty L. Muffley, 97, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Fellowship Manor - Whitehall Twp. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Muffley to whom she was married to for 67 before his passing in 2013. Born in Nazareth, Betty was a daughter of the late William and Edith Wambold (Frantz).
She worked as a seamstress at Mary Fashions. Betty's creative spirit shone through not only in her work but also in her hobbies. She found joy in ceramics, crocheting, and attending basket socials. Additionally, she had an adventurous side, enjoying the thrill of racing at Nazareth and Mahoning Valley Speedways.
She will be missed by her children: Carol York of Walnutport and Donald Muffley (Frances) of Bath; grandchildren: Tina, Lisa and Michelle; great-grandchildren: Jason, Rachel and Damian; great-great grandaughter: Aubrey; 15 step-granchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings: Grant Wambold (Joanne) of Danielsville and Robert Wambold of Bushkill Twp. and Arlene Smith of Wind Gap; nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by siblings: Gladys, Lorraine, Geraldine, Shirley, William, Earl, Stanley and George.
