Charles W. Applegate, 73, of Lehigh Twp., passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of the late Christine Applegate (Noggle) to whom he was married to for 52 years before her passing in 2021. Born with an artistic spirit, Charles dedicated his life to creating remarkable pieces that told stories through their form and design. One of his many crowning achievements was the stunning life-size Iron Man sculpture, meticulously crafted from stainless steel over ten months and unveiled in 2013. This monumental work stands as a testament to his dedication, talent, and the imaginative vision that characterized his artistic journey.

Charles will be lovingly remembered by his daughters: Carrie Taschler (Chuck) of Moore Township and Erin Derhammer (Brian) of Walnutport; grandchildren: Malek, Mason, Autumn and Cole; sisters: Shelia Lewis of and Linda Atkinson (Aaron) both of Bucyrus, OH.
