Donna Cline

Donna Jean Cline, 77, of Bethlehem, passed away at her home and went to be with the Lord on June 8, 2024. She is survived by her husband Terry Cline who held her hand until her last breath. They celebrated 56 years of loving marriage on March 12. Donna's family was her greatest joy and she was totally devoted to her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her love of children led her to pursue a teaching career. After receiving a BS in Elementary Education from Kent State University and a MS in Education from Penn State University, she taught elementary school for 6 years. She then spent many years as a stay at home mom while raising her young children. Upon returning to teaching she taught preschool for 28 years at First Presbyterian Church Preschool, Bethlehem. Donna was an active member of Grace Church Bethlehem, where she served on various committees. Besides spending time with her family, Donna enjoyed traveling and reading, and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers football team.

SURVIVORS: husband, Terry; daughter, Christy Penner of South Carolina; son, Matthew Cline (wife Joana) of California; grandchildren, Evan Penner of Bethlehem, PA; Joshua Penner of North Carolina; and Nadia Penner of Tennessee; sister, Shirley Thomas (husband Mike), Colorado; brothers, Jim Irwin, Moon Township, PA, and Chuck Irwin (wife Nancy), Newtown, PA., and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

SERVICES: A Witness to the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and a Celebration of the Life of Donna will be held Saturday, June 15 at 10 AM at Grace Church Bethlehem, 4301 Hecktown Road, Bethlehem, PA 18020. Cremation arrangements have been provided by the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC. - Bath.
