Edward E. Itterly

Edward E. Itterly, 92, of Stockertown, passed away on Sunday evening, April 28, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital – Anderson Campus, Bethlehem Township.  He was the husband of the late Jeanette I. (Getz) Itterly, with whom he shared 66 loving years of marriage prior to her passing 2023.

Born at home in Nazareth, Eddie was a son of the late Charles C. and Evelyn (Smith) Itterly.  A member of the International Ladies’ Garment Workers’ Union, he was employed in the apparel industry as a spreader and cutter at various garment factories for more than 40 years, before retiring in 1994 from the former Mary Fashion Mfg. in Bath.  Eddie loved to play bingo and was always prepared for a trip to the casino.  His talents not limited to gambling, Eddie enjoyed baking and was the creator of desserts, which his family and friends relished throughout the years.  Additionally, he was an avid gardener and known for his green thumb.  Eddie was an animal lover and fond of the family pets.

Survivors: Eddie is survived by a son, Ricky Itterly and wife, Esther, of Nazareth; three daughters, Tina Kline and husband, Alan, of Upper Nazareth Township, Regina Kittek and husband, Jody, of Chesapeake, Virginia, and Kathleen Dimmich and husband, Ralph, with whom he resided; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles C. Itterly of Moore Township; along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, Jeanette, he was predeceased by four brothers, Lester W. Kocher, Harold F., Robert W. and Kenneth Itterly; and two sisters, Pauline E. Muffley and Beatrice M. Miltenberger.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 03, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath, PA 18014.  Friends and relatives are invited to call on Friday morning from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.  Interment will be held privately with the family in Forks Church Cemetery, Stockertown.  Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net.
