Ethel Pysher

January 18, 1926 — August 17, 2024

Budd and Ethel Pysher were married for 63 years. Budd passed away on April 21, 2008.

Ethel Mae (Biechy) Pysher passed away August 17, 2024 at the age of 98 in her home with her daughter, Arlene, by her side. Born one of 16 children of Helen and LeRoy Biechy, Ethel had a tremendous love of life and lived life to the fullest. Fun loving, hard working, Ethel met Budd at Bushkill Park. They went on to raise their family, Arlene and Jerry. Ethel worked in a number of mills; sewing blouses, dresses, and lastly bathing suits. She made many long lasting friendships along the way. She loved to travel with her family - New Jersey, Indiana, Michigan, Tennessee, Florida, Virginia, Hawaii, California, Nevada, Wyoming, Montana, Jamaica, Bahamas and Germany. She is certainly remembered for her kindness, compassion, baking and cooking expertise and with a smile and laughter with all. As time progressed, dementia stole some of those things but not the smile or laughter.

Ethel is survived by her daughter, Arlene Muschlitz (Ron), grandchildren David Pysher (Shari) Michigan City, IN, Chris Kerchner (Cheryl), Kimberly Zalewski (Tom), great grandchildren Jessica Kerchner, Lexi Schmoyer, Kristin Kerchner, William Kerchner, Eric Zalewski, Adam Zalewski, 7 great great grandchildren, sister Gladys Wambold, brothers Russell, Davy, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Jerry, sisters Malvena Beam, Hilda Anthony, Marlene Kocher, Beatrice Shafer, brothers Wilford, Harold, Leonard, Clayton, Richard, Ernest, Lester and John. Heaven just had a wonderful reunion. We know it was a blast!
