Rev. Floyd R. Ritz, 81, of Moore Twp., passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara Ritz to whom he was married 36 years before her passing in 2023. Born in Hazleton, Floyd was a son of the late Joseph and Irlda Ritz (Faux).

Floyd dedicated his life to his family and his work as the owner and operator of Ritz's Quality Graphic Arts in Moore Twp. However, his true calling was found in his role as a pastor at Gracedale Nursing Home, where he selflessly served for 22 years.

Floyd's impact extended beyond his professional and spiritual endeavors, as he also dedicated his time to mentoring the youth as a scout master for the Moorestown troop. He was a man of unwavering faith, compassion, and generosity, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Floyd Ritz (Tracy) of MS and Jonathan Ritz (Stacy); step-son: Jeff Swietzer (Patti) of Allentown; grandchildren: Kelly Vlasquez and husband, Jay, Corey Swietzer and wife, Alicia, Cheyenne Ritz, Nathan Ritz, Elizabeth Ritz, Brianna Ritz, and Christopher Ritz; four great-grandchildren, Darion Rivera, Brayden Vargas, Julian Vargas, Skyla Vlasquez and Zoey Owen, Sadiejean, Sam, Caleb; a great-great-grandson: George Rivera; brother: Joseph Ritz (Nancy) of Thornhurst, PA; In addition to his wife, Barbara, he was predeceased by a brother: Darwin Ritz.

As per Floyd's wishes, no services will be held. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net. Arrangements and cremation care are under the direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC. - Bath.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to may be offered to St. Jude Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place - Memphis, TN 38105 and/or Tunnel to Towers Foundation - 2361 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10306.
