Helen F. Rissmiller, 91, of Plainfield Township, formerly of Bushkill Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 04, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital – Anderson Campus in Bethlehem Township.  She was the loving wife of Clark E. Born and raised in Saylorsburg on the family farm in Ross Township, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Nettie (Overpeck) Tittle.  After attending high school, Helen went to work in the garment industry as a sewing machine operator at the former Cali Sportswear in West Bangor, where she was employed for 20 years and was a member of the International Ladies’ Garment Workers’ Union.  She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Shutanka Chapter 202 in Pen Argyl and a former member of Hope United Church of Christ in Wind Gap.  Helen loved cats and dogs, enjoyed her daily crossword puzzles, and always looked forward to going on trips to the Atlantic City casinos.  Christmas was a very important time of the year for her, as she and Clark would team up as Mr. & Mrs. Claus to brighten the holidays for many children and their families in the Pen Argyl area.
