Hugh Anthony Craven, 76, of Nazareth, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Fellowship Manor in Whitehall.

Born on January 18, 1949 in Baltimore, Hugh was the son of the late Hugh A. Craven, Sr. and Norma Craven (Benton).

Hugh was proud of his family and legacy. Hugh will be dearly missed by his children; son, Kyle Craven and daughter, Kelly Angelucci; grandchildren Drew Craven, Dane Craven, Justin Benton and Connor Benton; sibling, Toni Craven of TX; Nieces; Kathryn Craven of TX and Kimberly Gonzales (and spouse Steve Gonzales) of CA. Hugh was preceded in death by his parents; Hugh Anthony Craven and Norma Ruth (Benton) Craven, brother John "Richard" Hodges, grandparents; "Grandmom" Catherine Craven, "Grandpop" John Craven, "Big Mama" Grace Tally Benton, "M.R" Milton Roy Benton, great grandparents; Jessie Ann Benton Fremont and John Charles Fremont, and his beloved pets Oscar and Bentley.

Hugh was active in his community. Hugh was honorably discharged from the United States Navy having served on the USS Forrestal CV-59, a member of the Masonic Whitfield Lodge No. 622, a Certified Official of Track, and a long-time business owner of Classic Motor Sales, Windgap, PA.

Hugh will be missed by his many friends. Hugh was an active Alum of Louise E. Dieruff High School and Huskies Athletics, class of 1966 who met often for dinner and maintained relationships for more than 60 years. Hugh spent time golfing with friends at local courses and country clubs. Hugh was a good neighbor, often snow blowing or mowing lawns for others. Hugh was an avid golfer and investor in retirement. Hugh enjoyed events, concerts, and travel with his close friends.

Services for Hugh will take place privately at the convenience of the family. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net.

Arrangements and cremation are under the care and direction of the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to Masonic Whitfield Lodge No. 622 or Louise E. Dieruff High School Athletics or U.S. Olympic Track and Field team.
