Jacob D. McQuillen, 21, of Bernville, Berks County, formerly of Bethel Township, passed away following a debilitating illness on Sunday, July 02, 2023, at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Born inFountain Hill, he was a son of Bradley E. and Shyanne S. (Finken) McQuillen, with whom he resided. Jacob was a graduate of Tulpehocken High School, Class of 2020. He absolutely loved to spend time with his grandfather at the Finken farm in Pen Argyl. Jacob enjoyed playing video games and Xbox, specifically farm simulator, and he loved trucks and patriotic items.
Survivors: In addition to his loving parents, Jacob will be dearly missed by his maternal grandparents, Leroy and Deborah Finken, of Pen Argyl; three brothers, James, Jonathan and Jackson McQuillen; three sisters, Hallie Carrieri and husband, Jonathan, Hannah and Hadley McQuillen; a niece, Raven, and two nephews, Oliver and Roman; loving aunts, uncles; and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Joshua L., in 2022, and Jesse G. McQuillen, in 2017.
Services: A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 08, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath, PA 18014. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Saturday morning from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to Jacob’s family in care of the funeral home.
