Jacqueline I. Landis, 79, of Lower Nazareth Township, passed away at her daughter’s residence, where she was lovingly cared for during her recent illness, on Monday, December 11, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Harold D. “Harry” Landis, Sr. with whom she shared 54 years of marriage prior to his death in 2019.
Born in Fountain Hill, Jackie was a daughter of the late Courtland P. and Irene (Coaches) Pearce. She was a graduate of Liberty High School, Class of 1962, and the former Allentown School of Cosmetology. Jackie joined the family floral business and worked with her mother at Coaches Florist in Fountain Hill and Boulevard Florist in Bethlehem for many years. Before retiring, she worked as a waitress at Sicily’s in Nazareth. Throughout the years, the Landis family was active in organized racing and Jackie was a huge supporter of her grandchildren’s racing ambitions and sporting events.
Her family was most important to her, and Jackie will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jodi L. Mammana and husband, Michael, of Lower Nazareth Township; son, Harold D. Landis, Jr. and wife, Stacey, of Jim Thorpe; four grandchildren, Hayley, Dominic, Gage, and Tre; brother, William Pearce of Allentown; sister, Patricia Hartzell and husband, Gregory, of North Carolina; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Harry, she was predeceased by a grandson, Trent S. Brewbaker
Services: Private arrangements are under the care and direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath.
