OBITUARY OF JOANN M. DANBAR

Joann M. Danbar, 75, of Moore Township, formerly of Washington, New Jersey, peacefully passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Alexandria Manor in Bath.  She was the wife of Russel A. Woolf, Sr. The couple would have celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary in September.  Born in Amsterdam, New York, Joannwas a daughter of the late Joseph and Carmella(Sandy) Cincotta.  A 1965 graduate of Amsterdam High School, she also attended and graduated from a school of nursing in New York City.  Joann was a caregiver for the mentally challenged before retiring.  She was previously employed as the payroll manager at Canteen and Quaker State Vending, where she worked for several years in numerous capacities.  Earlier in her career, Joann was a geriatric nurse.  Joann also volunteered as a hunter education safetyinstructor at the Stockertown Rod & Gun Club and was a proud donor at the Miller Keystone Blood Center.  In her spare time, she enjoyed planting flowers in her immaculate yard as well as garage sailing and the thrill of buying something for only $1. Joann also enjoyed collecting antiques which decorated her home with impeccable style.  She loved her pets and loved to feed the birds, watching them from the dining room window with the strongest cup of coffee you could stand, and she loved rock and roll music.  More than anything, Joann loved her grandson and always cherished their time together.  She wasn’t afraid to speak her mind, extend a finger or helping hand, if needed.  Whether you knew her by Joann, Mom, Nonnie, Aunt Bobo, or Jo Jo, she will truly be missed by many.

Survivors: In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her sons, Eric Danbar and his partner, Krista Sutton, of Point Phillips, and Leif “Lee” Danbar and his wife, Karen, of Walnutport; a grandson, Justin Danbar and his fiancée, Emilie Walter, of Walnutport; a great-granddaughter, Ella; a sister, Jane Burrill of Herkimer, New York; along with nieces and nephews. Joann was predeceased by her first husband, Gary R. Danbar; and three sisters, Barbara Rust, Frances Wassel, and Karen Mancini.
