Joanne Vishnesky

Joanne Elizabeth Vishnesky, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away early Wednesday, August 7th 2024, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Her final moments were spent surrounded by those she loved most.

Joanne was a graduate of North Hunterdon High School, Class of 1976.  She married her High School sweetheart, Robert Vishnesky, October 21st, 1978.  She went on to build a career as a beautician after graduating from Empire Beauty Academy.  She had a passion for being a hair stylist and had a special bond with her clientele and co-workers.

Joanne is preceded in death by her loving mother and father, and is survived by her husband, Robert; her three children, Robert and his, Jessamy, Michael and his wife, Amy, and Elizabeth and her husband, Justin; her eight grandchildren, Benjamin, Cayden, Lydia, Liam, Bailey, Micah, Levi and Eden; as well as her siblings.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Joanne was renowned for the love and compassion for family and friends.  Her hobbies included painting, gardening, cooking and caring for those she loved.  Joanne was a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses - Belvidere Congregation.  Her proudest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren, whom she adored and loved beyond measure.  Joanne will be remembered by her contagious laugh, her dedication to being wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and her devotion to her god Jehovah.  "To know her, was to love her."

We would like to extend a special thanks to those who helped care for and tend to Joanne and the family, during her final months.  We are forever grateful.

Joanne will have a Celebration of Life on August 17th, from 3-6 pm, at the family home at 4556 Chestnut Drive Bangor, PA 18013.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, in the Village of Moorestown - Bath.
