Joyce M. Lewis, 93, of Moore Twp., passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Gracedale Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Lewis, Sr. to whom she was married to for 57 years before his passing in 2023. Born in Easton, Joyce was a daughter of the late Clara Angelmeyer.
She was graduate of Easton H.S., Class of 1950, she became a sewing machine operator at the former Lehigh Frocks (Nazareth), where she worked for over 30 years.
A member of Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church in Moore Township, where she sang in the church choir. She had a passion for babies, loved to babysit, collecting angel figurines, and jigsaw, crossword and word search puzzles. Joyce was also proud to be a member of I.L.G.W.
She will be lovingly remembered by sons: Robert G. Lewis, Jr. and wife Bettyann of Bangor; Terry T. Lewis of Moore Twp; grandsons: Bobby (Jessie) and Brian Lewis; granddaughter: Marissa; and great-granddaughters: Chloe and Emily.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2024 in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC - 2165 Community Drive - Bath, PA 18014. A viewing will be held from 10 AM until time of services. The interment will conclude services at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery - Bushkill Center.
