Marie Fenner

Marie U. Fenner, 86, of Nazareth, formerly of Bushkill Twp., passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family on Monday, September 9, 2024 at her daughter's residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Franklin Fenner, Sr. to whom she was married 45 years before his passing in 2007. Born in Bushkill Twp., Marie was a daughter of the late Cornelious Sr. and Uta Hawk (Smith).

She worked as a nurse's aide for Moravian Hall Square. Previously, she was a sewing machine operator at Valerie Fashions. Marie was known for her culinary skills and loved to cook and bake delicious meals for her family. She found joy in bowling, dancing, playing cards, and participating in Bunco games with friends. Marie dedicated her life to her family and her passions, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love and kindness.

Survivors: She will be dearly missed by her children: Gwendolyn Biechy and her companion Rhonda Kummer of Nazareth, Franklin Fenner Jr. and his wife Stormie Fenner of Danielsville; grandchildren: Kristilyn, Adam, and Jordan; great-grandchildren: Briellelyn and Michael; sister: Ada Anglemeyer and her husband Richard of Wind Gap; along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her spouse, Franklin, she was predeceased by grandson: Noah Fenner; siblings: Cornelious Hawk, Jr., Mary Rader and Donald Hawk; companion: Herb Hower.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, September 13, 2024 in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 2165 Community Drive - Bath, PA 18014. Friends and Relatives are invited to a viewing from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery.
