Marion S. (Saylor) Stout

Marion S. Stout, 92, of Corona de Tucson, Arizona, formerly of Belleview, Florida and Nazareth, passed away peacefully at Park Senior Villas in Tuscon, on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.  She was the wife of the late Theodore G. “Ted” Stout to whom she was married 62 years before his passing in 2012.

Born in Nazareth, she was a daughter of the late Howard T. and Dora J. (Bush) Saylor.  A 1949 graduate of Nazareth High School, Marion later married and was employed at the former Second National Bank of Nazareth.  Most important to her was the role of devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Marion was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Nazareth where she served as a past president of the Lutheran Church Women, as well as a member of the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.  Additionally, she was a member of Corona Cares and Newtowners both of Corona de Tucson, the Order of the Eastern Star Nazareth Chapter No. 252, Nazareth and Belleview Chapter No. 122.

Survivors: Marion is survived by her loving daughter, Ann Louise Fry and husband, Larry, with whom she resided; grandchildren, Kara Meyer and husband, Michael, of Corona de Tucson, Arizona, and Nolan Fry and wife, Crystal, of Nazareth; three great-grandchildren, Saylor, Veronica, and Benjamin; and a niece, Dawn Elliott of Nazareth.

In addition to her husband, Ted, she was predeceased by a son, Timothy D. Stout; and two sisters, Katherine Young and Marie, an infant.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 06, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. in St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 S. Broad Street, Nazareth, PA 18064.  Friends and relatives are invited to call on Saturday morning from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.  Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Nazareth.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath.
