Mary E. Renninger, 84, a lifelong resident of Allentown, quietly passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the Phoebe Nursing Home - Allentown.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Leroy Renninger and Helena (King) Roberts, and stepdaughter of the late Griffith Roberts. Mary was a graduate of William Allen High School, Class of 1957. She was last employed at Laidlaw Bus Service for Northampton School District and previously worked at Kraft Foods in Allentown. She also enjoyed working for the former Classic Photo in Allentown and Home Interiors. Mary was most proud of devoting her love and time to serving as a full-time care giver for her mother, grandmother, and stepfather. One of her favorite pastimes was playing boombas and she adored her pet dogs throughout the years.
Survivors: She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her sister, Leah Warnke of Treichlers; along with nieces, nephews, and their children. In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by a sister, Audrey R. Snyder; and her two beloved brothers-in-law, Dr. Richard K. Snyder and Edward Warnke.
Services: A Funeral Service to honor Mary’s life will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 5:00 P.M. in Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, Bath (Emanuelsville) PA 18014. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Wednesday afternoon from 4:00 P.M. until the time of service. Interment in Valley View Cemetery, Emanuelsville, will be held privately with the family. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to The Sanctuary at Haafsville, 901 Nestle Way, Breinigsville, PA 18031.
