Norman Stout

Norman James "Pete" Stout, 85, of Wind Gap, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital - Anderson Campus in Bethlehem Township, surrounded by family. He was the husband of Pauline R. (Artz) Stout. The couple celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on February 9.

Born in Easton, Pete was a son of the late Norman V. and Katherine (Weisenberger) Stout. He attended Easton High School. Retiring in 2021 as the park manager of Indian Steps Mobile Home Park in Wind Gap, he was an automobile mechanic by trade. Previously, Pete was employed at Midas in Wind Gap and Stroudsburg, and Chrin's Automotive & Wheel Alignment in Wilson Borough. He was life member of the Pen Argyl Republican Club. A true automobile enthusiast, Pete was an avid fan of NASCAR, and loved attending local car shows with his Chevrolet El Caminos.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Pauline, he is survived by a son, Norman J. "Pete" Stout and wife, Donnakay, of Wind Gap; three daughters, Kimberly Wismer of Nazareth, Cheryl Konopaski of Wind Gap, and Charlene Pleiss of Forks Township; a stepson, Steven J. Handelong of Wind Gap; a stepdaughter, Denise Nolf of Wind Gap; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Stout and wife, Sharon, of Williams Township, and Edward Stout and wife, Carol, of Stockertown; a sister, Helen Frace of Nazareth; former wife, Nancy (Bickert) Kilpatrick of Camp Hill; along with many nieces and nephews.

Pete was predeceased by a daughter, Robin Kilpatrick; a granddaughter, Jessica Pleiss; a stepson, Robert A. Stout; a stepdaughter, Sherri Christian; two brothers, Ronald Weisenberger and Walter Stout; a sister, Barbara Rice; and a stepbrother, Robert Stout.

Services: Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, in the Village of Moorestown - Bath.
