Paul G. Pysher, 82, of Moore Township, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.  He was the husband of Amy D. (Hoffman) Pysher.  Paul and Amy observed their 51st wedding anniversary on September 15.

Born in Fountain Hill, Paul was a son of the late William J. Sr. and Hilda (Shuey) Pysher.  He was a 1959 graduate of Liberty High School and honorably served in the United States Army National Guard during the Vietnam War era.  Paul had a successful career with ACME Markets which spanned 44 years, before retiring in 2003 from the Quakertown store.

Among his favorite pastimes were bowling, hunting, and he was an avid NASCAR, Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan.  A member of the Mustang Club, Paul was an automobile enthusiast and enjoyed collecting old cars and attending car shows.  He also had a passion for woodworking and crafted many works of art in his workshop for his family, which will be cherished heirlooms.  Paul was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Moorestown.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Amy, he will be dearly missed by his two sons, Paul G. Pysher, II, and wife, Penni, of Bushkill Township, and Sean Pysher and wife, Christina, of Lehigh Township; four grandchildren, Dylan and girlfriend, Maddy, Danika, Maddie, and Molly; a sister, Janice Wescott of Johnstown; a brother-in-law, Franklin Hoffman and wife, Rose, of Slatington; a sister-in-law, Melissa Haydt and husband, Kerry, of Lehigh Township; along with nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by a brother, William J Pysher, Jr., in 2021.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath, PA 18014.  Friends and relatives are invited to call on Wednesday morning from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Moorestown.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to the Alzheimer’s Association of America, 322 Eight Avenue, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
