Richard F. Haydt, Jr.

Richard F. Haydt, Jr., 49, of Nazareth, formerly of Bangor, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 06, 2024.  He was the beloved husband of the late Francine M. (Keene) Haydt, with whom he shared 14 years of marriage prior to her passing in 2012.

Born in Fountain Hill, Richard was the son of Shirley E. (Davidson) Delaney and her husband, John III, of Ackermanville, and the late Richard F. Haydt, Sr.  He was a 1992 graduate of Nazareth High School, and was currently employed at Amazon in Easton, where he worked as a warehouse material handler.  A true sportsman, Richard enjoyed attending baseball games and playing softball throughout the years.  He was also an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles.

Survivors: In addition to his loving mother, Shirley, he will be deeply missed by his daughter, Bethany Haydt with whom he resided; a stepbrother, Tyler Delaney of New Freedom, PA; five brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

Services: Private and at the convenience of the family.  There will be no calling hours.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath.
