Richard Keller

Richard G. Keller, Sr. 79, of Warren Center, PA, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at his residence. Born in Hanover Township, PA. He was the son of Mamie J. (Keller) Parr of Lehighton and the late Freeman Gable.

An alumnus of Easton Area High School, Rich then served his country with honor during the Vietnam War, first in the U.S. Navy for 18 years and then in the Army Reserves. He was a respected member of the VFW throughout his lifetime, embodying a commitment to service and camaraderie.

After his military service, Rich pursued a career in truck driving, a profession he excelled in for many years, before transitioning to driving school buses until his well-earned retirement. Rich was known for his dedication to his work and his warm, welcoming nature.

In his personal life, Rich cherished his time living in the serene Amish Country, where he, alongside his beloved companion Marcie, found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Rich and Marcie shared a deep love that was evident to all who knew them, creating countless memories in their quaint community.

In addition to his mother and love of his life, Marcie, he will be lovingly remembered by children: Desra of SC, Jessica of Oregon, Rich Jr. of NJ and Patrick of HI; 10 grandchildren; sisters: Barbara of Easton, Elizabeth of Bath, Freda of Wind Gap and Clara & her husband Joe of Lehighton; brother: Walter & wife Edwina of LeRaysville, many nieces and nephews; step-children: Jamie, Billy and Jimmy.

He was predeceased by a daughter: Tanya Keller; brother: Freddy Mosteller, Jr.; sisters: Rita Richline and Joan Mosteller and step-dad: Fred Mosteller, Sr.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 11 AM in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 2165 Community Drive- Bath,18014. Friends and Relatives are invited to call from 10 AM until the time of the service. Interment with military honors, will follow at Bushkill M.E. Cemetery Bushkill Twp. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to the Funeral Home to help defray final expenses.
