Robert T. Harling, 91, of Bethlehem Twp., passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Stella Harling (Tenally) to whom he was married to for 40 years. Born in Easton, Robert was a son of the late Edward and Esther Harling (Mohr).
He was a member of First Moravian Church of Easton, where he served as a sacristan. Robert was a former member of the Masonic Lodge of Easton #152 and Wilson Borough Fire Department where he formed lasting friendships. Robert served our country in the United States Navy during peacetime.
A proud employee of Binney & Smith, Robert spent many fulfilling years as a crayon molder at Crayola, a position that allowed him to contribute to the vibrant imaginations of children everywhere.
Robert was an avid golfer and bowler, often seen spending weekends perfecting his swing or rolling strikes with friends and family. He enjoyed the game of quoits and took great pleasure in tending to his yard, always bringing life and color to his surroundings. He loved to travel with his wife, Stella, where they created cherished memories together.
In addition to his wife, Robert will be lovingly remembered by his children: Edward (Gwen) Harling, of Palmer Towship and Theresa Harling of Saylorsburg, stepchildren: Anthony Ayers of Arizona, Kathleen Hazel (Dale) of Moore Township, William Stanulis of Bethlehem Township; grandchildren: Cody, Morgan, Joshua, Sarah and Andrew; 10 great-grandchildren; twin-sister: Dorothy Kepner of Palmer Twp. and sister: Joan Bartish of Bethlehem Twp. Robert is predeceased by a step-son: Robert Ayers and a sister: Eleanor Koose.
Graveside Services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Easton Cemetery, 410 N. 10th St, Easton, PA 18042 (formerly Easton Heights Cemetery).
