Ronald Wilson

Ronald L. Wilson, 74, of Upper Mount Bethel Township, was stricken at home and passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono Campus in East Stroudsburg. He was the loving husband of Rose-Marie J. "Judy" (Burnett) Mattson. Ron and Judy shared 36 years together and recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary on March 29.

Born in Morristown, New Jersey, he was one of 11 children born to the late Elizabeth Wilson. A professional truck driver, Ron was last employed by Russell Reid Trucking Co. in Glen Gardner, NJ, for 10 years, and, prior to that, he was employed at FiberMark Paper Mill in Warren Glen, NJ, for 25 years. He was an ardent 49ers fan and a motorcycle enthusiast who loved riding his Harley. Ron also never missed an opportunity to go fishing with Logan, his son, and had many fond memories of their time together. He was a member of Bushkill United Methodist Church.

Survivors: Along with his wife, Judy, he is survived by his son, Logan Gellock at home; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ron was predeceased by his daughter, Trisha L. Wilson; and step-daughter, Maegan Gellock.

Services: A Memorial Service in celebration of Ron's life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. in Bushkill United Methodist Church, 1330 Church Road, Wind Gap, PA 18091. Friends and Relatives are invited to call on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be private. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the GEORGE G.
