Samuel Werkheiser

Samuel P. Werkheiser, 53, of Upper Nazareth Township, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025. He was the husband of Dawn L. (Laubach) Werkheiser. Dawn and Sam would have celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on August 19.

Born in Fountain Hill, Sam was the son of Samuel and Diane L. (Quinter) Werkheiser. A 1989 graduate of Nazareth High School, he was currently employed at Presidential Cleaning, Inc. Previously, Sam was an assistant store manager at Rite Aid. Sports were an important part of his life and to state that Sam was a sports enthusiast would be an understatement. He was an passionate Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan, and a prominent sports card and memorabilia collector, an interest he shared with his son, Brandon. Apart from sports, Sam also enjoyed going on cruises and listening to the ocean, and he was a member of Whitfield Lodge No. 622 F. & A.M., Tatamy.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Dawn, and his parents, Samuel and Diane, he will be dearly missed by his son, Brandon Werkheiser of Easton; a sister, Colleen Werkheiser and wife, Geraldine McBrearty, of Nyack, NY; maternal grandmother, Betty Jane (Frey) Quinter of Bethlehem Township; in-laws, Willis "Sonny" Jr. and Sharon Laubach, of Hecktown; a sister-in-law, Stacy Zabroski of Nesquehoning; neices and nephews; aunts, uncles; and cousins.

Services: A Masonic Funeral Service immediately followed by a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 5:00 P.M. in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, in the Village of Moorestown - Bath, PA 18014.
