Shirley Ann Serfass

Shirley Ann Serfass, 75, of Lehigh Twp. passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenburg. She was the beloved fiance of Douglas Zander. Born in Fountain Hill, Shirley was a daughter of the late Alton and Evelyn (Houser) Muffley. Shirley was employed as a seamstress at various textile mills.

Survivors:
In addition to her fiance; She will be dearly missed by her children, Brian Eckert of Slatington, Robert Eckert of Bath and Lori Hansler of Easton; Step-children: Douglas Zander Jr. of Rutherford, NJ, Matthew Zander and his husband Randy Foose of Mifflin, PA and Brian Zander of Austin, TX; grandchildren: Brandon, Shane, Nicky, Johnathan, Ashley, Tyler, Crystal, Heather; 18 Great-Grandchildren; siblings: Ernest Muffley and his wife Maddie of Jacksonville, FL, Wayne Muffley and his wife Joy of Lehigh Twp. and Eleanor Mann of Nazareth; Shirley is predeceased by a son: Michael Eckert and sister: Marion Condona.

Services: A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 AM on Monday, April 1, 2024 followed by brief prayers in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 2165 Community Drive Village of Moorestown - Bath, 18014. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net.
