Susan G. (Gaboda) Betar

Susan G. Betar, 67, Moore Township, formerly of Saylorsburg, passed away on Thursday, December 07, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg Campus in Bethlehem.  She was the beloved wife of the late Robert G. Betar, with whom she shared 25 years of marriage prior to his death in 2004.

Born in Passaic, NJ, Susan was the daughter of the late George and Rose L. (Marone) Gaboda.  She graduated from Clifton High School in 1973 and attended Passaic County Community College.  For more than 30 years, Susan successfully operated a residential cleaning service.  She always looked forward to vacationing at the beach where she enjoyed many fond memories of spending time with her family, and she was also known for her love of animals.

Survivors: Susan will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Allison Millheim and companion, Eric Kullman, of Allentown, and son, Jason Betar and wife, Melissa, of Barto, PA; three grandchildren, Sophia, Xavier, and Kylie; brother, Tom Gaboda and wife, Bobbie, of Rockaway, NJ; brother-in-law, Greg Betar, and sister-in-law, Elaine Betar, both of Clifton, NJ; and three nephews.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath, PA 18014.  Friends and relatives are invited to call on Wednesday morning from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service.  Interment will follow in Buena Vista Cemetery, Brodheadsville.
