Theresa Beers

Theresa M.A. Beers, 76, of Moore Township, quietly passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Easton Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Palmer Township. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald W. Beers, Jr., with whom she shared 36 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2007.

Born in Fountain Hill, Theresa was a daughter of the late John L. and Theresa I. (Pinter) Koch. She was a sewing machine operator and worked at the former Diamond Blouse Company in Bethlehem prior to devoting herself to her family. A proud wife, mother and grandmother, Theresa enjoyed cooking and babysitting throughout the years. She was a life member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company where she was well known for her filling. She was also a member of the former St. John Capistrano Catholic Church in South Bethlehem.

Survivors: Theresa is survived by her loving sons, Donald W. Beers, III and wife, Ann, of Shoemakersville, and William J. Beers and wife, Nancy, of Moore Township; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Beers; brother, John C. Koch of Hellertown; sisters, Stella M. Koch of Bethlehem, and Catherine M. Searles and husband, Jeffrey, of Wilkes-Barre; along with nieces and nephews.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, in the Village of Moorestown - Bath, PA 18014. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Thursday morning from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
