Theresa Heyer

Theresa "Terry" Heyer, 86 of Nazareth, passed away, peacefully on July 31, 2024 at Gracedale Nursing Home. She was born on April 9, 1938 in Bronx, NY to the late Joseph and Marie Antionette "Nettie" (Cosentino) Iannarelli.

She was the wife of Andrew R. Heyer, celebrating 62 years of marriage in 2020. Terry was an executive secretary for Electrolux Corp. in Manhattan, NY, worked in various sewing mills, was a consultant for Stanley Home Products, Home Interiors, and worked at Dollar General. Along with her husband, they owned & operated Heyer's Potatoe Farm in Moore Township. She was a past member of St. John's UCC of Nazareth, Terry was a very energetic person, an excellent home cook and will be missed dearly by family & friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Laurie Klitchko, sisters Gloria (Frank) Getz of Nazareth, Jacqueline (Johnny) Ciccarelli of Yonkers, NY and nephew Michael Getz of Nazareth.

She is survived by children, Christopher (Maria) Heyer of Pen Argyl and Karen (Peter) Buis of Nazareth; Grandchildren Alaina (Adam) Klitchko, Jenna (Dan) Curcio, Matthew (Kathleen) Heyer, Christopher G. Heyer, Dr. William Buis and Andrew (Taylor) Buis, step-grandchild Isabelle DePaulo, ten great-grandchildren, nieces & nephew.
