Vivian P. Minotti, 86, formerly of Forks Township, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, January 05, 2024, at Gracedale Nursing Home.
Born in Washington Township, she was a daughter of the late Alvin J. and Christina (LaBar) Peters. Vivian was a 1954 graduate of Bangor High School. A talented seamstress as well as an exceptionally good cook, known especially for her Italian pastas and cookies. More importantly, Vivian cherished her role as a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, always placing her family first.
Survivors: Vivian will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Brian A. Minotti and wife, Heidi, of Bangor, and Denise M. Rutt of Wilson Borough; five grandchildren, Rachael Arsenault and husband, Jason, Chad Sportelli, Cory Rutt and wife, Monet, Tyler Rutt and wife, Katelyn, and Anthony Minotti; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Wimmer of Riverside, Illinois; and son-in-law, Barry Rutt of Palmer Township.
Vivian was predeceased by a granddaughter, Amber Minotti; three brothers, Jay, Dale, and Paul Peters; and her former husband, Anthony J. Minotti.
Services: A Graveside Service at Forks Church Cemetery in Stockertown will be held privately with the family. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath.
The Minotti family wishes to express their grateful appreciation to the staff of Gracedale for the kind and compassionate care extended to Vivian throughout the years.
