A lifelong resident of Moore Township, Glenn is the 12th of 13 children. He grew up on the family farmette, working with his family in the garden and raising animals for their own consumption and as pets. He enjoyed the horses they raised and even broke a horse to ride.
As a youth, Glenn worked at local farms with whatever tasks they required. After graduating from Northampton Area High School, he worked for Serfass Construction, then the Beer’s Construction, and then the Bethlehem Steel Corporation, where he advanced from janitor to foreman. When the Steel company business began to decline, he actually retired from the Steel Company and worked on the Geiger Country View Farm before moving back into construction with Bachman Construction.
With his background in various fields, he advanced his career again by working for the Lower Nazareth Township maintenance department. In later years, he moved on to customer service for Miller Supply ACE Hardware.
Thinking he would “retire,” he started working part-time for the George G. Bensing Funeral Home as a funeral assistant. With his knowledge of building, maintenance, eye for detail, and people skills, he became an avid part of the behind-the-scenes needs of the funeral home and a participant in the funeral client functions. He is their project manager and one of their funeral assistants.
He met his loving wife, Ruthann (now a retired teacher), working part-time in his younger years at Country View Farm (as she lived on the farm at the time). They were blessed with a son, Jonathan, and a daughter, Michelle, who each blessed them with two grandchildren. Jonathan has Abbigail and Gabrielle with his wife, Stephanie. Michelle has Brandon and Alesha with her husband, Brian.
Glenn and his wife live in Moore Township. In his free time, he loves taking care of his property, especially mowing his lawn and detailing his vehicle, zero-turn mower, compact tractor, and his pride and joy, his 1971 Chevy Chevelle. Always a hard worker, he has coached baseball Little League and always supported his children and grandchildren in all of their activities. He is an active member of Covenant United Methodist Church and the Moore Township Lions Club.
Nathan is a 2000 graduate of Hamburg High School (Berks County). He started his funeral service career 9 days after high school graduation. He graduated in 2003 from Northampton Community College with an Associate's Degree in Funeral Service Education. He became a licensed funeral director in 2004.
Nathan has had the privilege of learning and perfecting the art of funeral service by working at some of the most prestigious funeral homes the Lehigh Valley has to offer.
He and his wife Christina (Certified Veterinary Technician) live in Bethlehem (Steel City) along with their four dogs, Tim, Calvin, Quinn, and Corbin. In their free time, they enjoy spending time with their dogs and camping at Appalachian Campground (Shartlesville). Nathan takes pride in home ownership with a perfectly manicured lawn and landscape. In his free time, he enjoys playing in competitive fantasy sports leagues (baseball & football) with lifelong friends.
